I now have two art festivals under my belt using the USBSwiper system. Could not be happier. Prior to USBSwiper, I used an old fashioned knucklebuster credit card swiper. It worked, but at the end of a show I then had to go back to the hotel and enter all the receipts of the day into Virtual Terminal (I was already using PayPal for online transactions).
