USBSwiper Magento POS Credit Card Reader Module

I purchased USB Swiper software and the swiper unit for one particular reason, I had a trade show to do. I needed the ability to quickly swipe credit cards and put payment into PayPal. My website has all that built in but I need portability and USB Swiper met my needs. We were at a 4 day show over 1,000 miles from home. Right from the first the software came up and operated. I did not have one glitch during the entire show and I was operating through a WI-FI connection the whole time. There are a few changes I'd like to see in the software interface but otherwise everything worked great and we were the top selling vendor at the show.

I now have two art festivals under my belt using the USBSwiper system. Could not be happier. Prior to USBSwiper, I used an old fashioned knucklebuster credit card swiper. It worked, but at the end of a show I then had to go back to the hotel and enter all the receipts of the day into Virtual Terminal (I was already using PayPal for online transactions). Not exactly a relaxing end to a long day. Last summer we got a few credit cards that didn't have raised lettering, making the knucklebuster useless. In two cases we failed to write down the expiration date and people got my photos free. I looked at many, many solutions. You cannot beat USBSwiper for price or features. I have almost 400 items in my database and use the barcode scanner along with the swiper. Great way of keeping track of what sold. Much better than other systems that just allow you to enter a dollar amount. I like to know what sold. So thank you USBSwiper!

USBSwiper credit card verification and processing through our Club PayPal account has provided our Club a portable easy-to-use automated process for accepting credit card payments to replace our old manual method of card impressions requiring personal signatures and manual collection of telephone numbers, addresses and email addresses. USBSwiper capabilities have saved us hundreds of hours of manual effort required to collect and deliver the manual card impressions to our Bank for processing. Manual effort to follow-up with customers whose credit cards were not accepted by our bank and loss of sales not collectible because of unauthorized credit cards has been eliminated. So far, our major use of USBSwiper has been for our major fund-raising events like our annual Christmas Tree Sales Lot located in a remote area. With broadband internet access from our Club laptop computer connected with the USBSwiper software, card-swiper and a printer we swipe credit cards that are authorized and processed for payment through our Club PayPal. Email notifications are received immediately for all authorized payments. Customers are provided a printed receipt for their purchase. Complete sales reports are available from the USBSwiper software and via our PayPal account. Based on our Club’s successful use of USBSwiper, our Rotary District 5150 has implemented USBSwiper for credit card processing at all District events for event fees.
